Can Your Meter Handle It? The Load Question
A 7.2 kW charger draws roughly 32 A continuously — often more than the rest of your house combined.
- Three-phase homes (common in Surat bungalows and newer flats): usually fine. The charger takes one phase or balances across three, and your existing sanctioned load often covers it.
