These terms govern your use of the Ohm Electrician website and the booking of our electrical services in and around Surat, Gujarat. By booking a service, you agree to the terms below.
1. Services
We provide residential, commercial, and industrial electrical services performed by licensed technicians. Service availability, response times, and same-day slots are subject to technician availability and are provided as good-faith estimates, not guarantees.
2. Quotes and Pricing
- Prices shown on this website are indicative starting rates for Surat city limits.
- A fixed written quote is provided after on-site inspection and confirmed before work begins. The confirmed quote is binding on both parties for the described scope.
- Additional work discovered during the job is quoted separately and performed only with your approval.
- Materials are billed at MRP with original invoices available on request.
3. Visit Charges and Cancellation
- The standard visit and inspection charge (₹99) applies when a technician attends but you choose not to proceed with quoted work.
- Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 2 hours before the slot.
- Emergency call-out charges are stated on the phone before dispatch and apply once the technician is en route.
4. Warranty
- Repairs carry a 30-day workmanship warranty; installations carry up to a 1-year workmanship warranty as stated on your invoice.
- The warranty covers our workmanship. It does not cover damage from misuse, unrelated faults, third-party alterations, voltage events beyond our control, or material defects covered by the manufacturer's own warranty.
- Warranty claims require the original invoice or booking reference.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide safe access to the work area and disclose known hazards.
- An adult (18+) must be present during the service visit.
- Obtain any society or landlord permissions required for the work.
6. Liability
We carry out all work with professional care and to applicable Indian standards. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for pre-existing defects in your electrical installation that we have not worked on.

8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Surat, Gujarat.
